Alan Furst's 'Spies of the Balkans' was a recent bestseller and deservedly so. It's a terrific read that I recommend. But did you know western pulp and comic books are also a big hit in the region. Stop by any corner newsstand and you will find magazines like these.
Who knew Doc Holliday was so popular in the Russian speaking world!
