This silhouette is based on a photograph of a foam cut-out traced when I was in first grade. I remember each student went behind a curtain so the other kids couldn't see and our image was projected on a wall and traced. After, the class tried to guess who was who. My hair always shot straight out and was a dead giveaway.PFF is the creation of Leah J. Utas.

Ha. I may have had a faint idea who he was but you would have to ask my mom about the hair. I bet she did a one comb over before I walked out the door. Fixing my hair was of little interest. That year everything was The Six Million Dollar Man and year one of Star Wars.
We need an update to compare them.

I was like Ron, a little hellion. I believe it was four visits to the principal's office to get acquainted with the paddle that finally broke me from acting out and my conduct grades were superb after that.

Cute! I remember an art project like that at my elementary school too, but my kids never did that. Computers and digital cameras reduce the magic. Happy July 4th weekend!
