How cool! I've liked Sam Elliott since I first saw The Lifeguard. Love his westerns best though, especially The Sacketts.

I noticed he's a "two L, two T" Elliott, which speaks volumes about his character.

A fine actor. I liked him in Conagher, though I don't remember much about it..

Naomi, I remember LIFEGUARD well. A fun film from the late 70s. Some early Anne Archer in that one.

Hi, Cloudia!

What's your point, Garn?

Oscar, CONAGHER was a goody.

David, I discovered a lot of Hollywood and British actors in the nineties and Sam Elliott was one of them, starting with TOMBSTONE and years later, THE HULK. For instance, I knew Tom Selleck as an actor but never as a western hero. There's something about actors like Elliott and Selleck though I can't put my finger on it. Maybe, they are really good at what they do.

Prashant, For me, it appears they show up and do their job. Unpretentious actors who are more interested in a solid legacy than fleeting fame.
