BULLETS FOR A BALLOT Cover (New Cash Laramie Novel)
The latest Cash Laramie novel is BULLETS FOR A BALLOT, which will be released in a few days. Care to review the new eBook? Leave a comment here with your e-mail or drop me a note at paladin-1@hotmail.com.
To be honest, the title doesn't read as clearly as the previous two. It's the color and spacing, of course the spacing probably is there to not hide the creative assets of the art.
Sabrina, Thank you. And I'll make sure you get a copy, amiga.
Chad/Randy, Thanks for weighing in. Appreciated.
Court, No worries. And a copy will be coming your way, friend.
Thanks, Michael.
Ron, We moved those words all over the place and it looked best in our opinion this way. Yes, consideration for the assets. :) Super appreciate your thoughts, sir.
I like the cover, but I can see what Ron is referring to.
I think it's the color. Seems to blend into the background as it's such a soft color. Perhaps that was the intention, to avoid standing out from the image, but it loses impact.
The other title (vol I&II, Manhunters, Miles) All have a strong light to dark contract in title vs. background.
Thanks, Ron. Most of the thoughts seemed centered around the placement of the title. We're going to play around with it a bit more. We still have a couple days until release. (Have to admit we love the color and that will probably stay put.)
Hi, Craig! No later than Wednesday of next week. There will be a sample of the book on Fires on the Plain webzine later in the coming days.
Garnett, Ha. Yes, she has beautiful eyes. I'm working on the book description that goes (rough draft) something like this: Marshal Cash Laramie arrives in the explosive town of Bear Pines where Mrs. Tolliver is running as the first female mayor. The incumbent mayor has powerful allies and attempts to harass her in quitting the race. Events ultimately turn lethal and Tolliver's husband is killed, leaving her and their son Danny on their own.
Cash rapidly finds himself with his hands full and surrounded by killers who will stop at nothing to make sure Mrs. Tolliver is not elected. He wires Cheyenne for assistance but will help arrive in time?

This cover is stunning! Truly. Looking forward to getting my copy.
That's a great cover.
Nice cover.
That is one fine cover. I think there are words on it, but I haven't gotten to them yet.
I'd read it, David, and review - although I have yet to review Vol. II, I'm slow slow slow.
That is definitely an eye-catching cover, David!

It's more than usable, far from horrible.

A spectacular cover, Dave. How soon until it drops? Craig Wilson
Great cover for sure!

Bullets For a Ballot? Are you getting political now?
Seriously, though, that's a great cover. I'm mesmerized by the eyes.

Awesome cover. I'd love to do a review.
A copy will be coming your way, Chris. Please give a couple of days.
Like most I find the cover stunning - and I have been known to choose a book by its cover!
You are brilliant.
Well I hope you choose this one, Dave. Thanks.
Patti, I don't know about that! :) But thank you!
Yes, David, that's a good blurb. Doesn't give away a few surprises, either!
Very nice cover. I would suggest making the "as written by" a bit larger.
Nik, It was very hard not to mention those surprises.
Mikey, Thanks for the suggestion. We have taken all the recommendations and will tweak the cover.
Great new photo of you!

That young lady is a cover model and not me, Cloudia.
Just joking! Thanks.
