Chris Rhatigan reviews ADVENTURES OF CASH LARAMIE AND GIDEON MILES over at his terrific site.
I must say I'm very thankful to everyone who has bought a copy of
my eBook. It has been doing well and I've come close to cracking the top ten on Amazon's western chart. The fact that I was riding high over several Louis L'Amour titles brought a big grin to my face.
Many thanks.

Difficult though Amazon's ratings methods are to comprehend, the Grainger ebook's double-quick rise through the top hundred Kindle western chart has been brilliant. David has a loyal and deserved following, particularly here and at Beat to a Pulp. Writers associated with the Black Horse Western series, and the Hale publishing company, have been trying to achieve something similar for months, but without the same spectacular results. Long may they last, and bring new readers into a fold that at times seems remarkably limited!
As for Louis L'Amour, that one baffles me, not because they're not enjoyable books, but because they are priced at $4 or more, have already enjoyed tens of conventional printings over the years, and you can pick copies up at charity shops for cents.
Chap, Yesterday I counted close to twenty of his books in the top fifty. It really is a testament to Louis L'Amour's skills as a writer.
Seems like rubbing shoulders with Louis L'Amour in the charts can't be a bad thing...
I just started the book late last night. Looking good.
Ron, It was brief! I'm slipping today but, yes, it is a rewarding encounter.
Thanks, Charles. KILLING TRAIL and Mr. Holm's 8 POUNDS were my examples of quality eBooks I was shooting for and believe I achieved.
