The Fox

This fox shows up in our backyard each evening looking for dinner which he usually finds. He moves so fast I haven't been able to get a clear photo.

Gotta love free pest control.

And I thought possums were bad.

Ha. So true, Larry.

Patti, We have quite a few possums too. All battling for the same strip of land.

Cool pics. Here in the desert it's coyotes, and you need pest control for them.

A fox? Sweet.

Right on cue, the fox just showed up.

And I bet now he's on the run.

(I kill myself)

We went from Fox to Ballroom Blitz to Love Is Like Oxygen. Good lord, Chris!

That's awesome! I've only ever seen one fox and it was a bright flash of red darting across a side road to our local university.

Before coming to Maine I think I've seen maybe just one in my lifetime.

I've seen one fox in my life. My home is on the edge of a forest and we get quite a few deer running through the property. My sister across town has seen a wild animal I always wanted to spot. Sitting on the deck one day, she notices a black bear wandering across the back yard.

Nice pics by the way.

It's Cinnabar, the One O'Clock Fox!

There's something just incredibly beautiful about red foxes. I don't know why but I've always felt that way.

That must be very exciting. I've never seen a fox in the wild.

We have foxes who visit, mostly after dark - attracted by a neighbour who feeds them.

Randy, Being in Maine I expect to run into a bear or moose and pass out any day now.

Another book for Ava, Naomi. Cinnabar, the One O'Clock Fox. Thanks.

Charles, They are a flash of color when you least expect it.

It is, Diane. We look forward to him everyday with anticipation. Forget that Dancing With The Stars crap. :)

David, This fox is very autonomous and collects his own. There is a bird feeder nearby but he pretty much ignores it.

That's cool! Although you may not want a fox hanging around... (But it's still cool.) :)

I can settle for cool. :)
