Nice one, David. Popped over there earlier and left a comment. BTAP Round Two, eh?? I'll have to get my head down and get some writing done. :-)

Love the pic, David. Very Johnny Cash.

Is that ... just over your right shoulder? Nah, can't be. And yet, it looks as if you're about to be man-handled by a sasquatch!

So, David, anything you care to tell us about the moments just after this pic was taken?

David, Who said Round 2? ... Me?

Chris, Funny you should mention the Man in Black, originally (2008) I posted thar pic with the lyrics to Hey Porter.

Matthew, He came out of nowhere but luckily nobody was hurt. It was different... kind of friendship. If you know what I mean.

Yes, David....you. :-)

Just noticed the cover of the Mark Twain auto. He's the spitting image of...This Man

A UK sports presenter, amongst other things.

Best wishes!!

Amazing likeness! I guess when Twain decided to come back he had enough of writing.

Legend, The Old Fossil? Doesn't sound quite right.

Great picture. Very Stand By Me. ;)

Alyssa, That was Louisiana circa 2008.

And you're right! A legend's well can not run dry!

Thanks for posting about the contest and also posting a new-ish picture.

A penny on the track behind you trembles with alarm. (At least, that's how I'm imagining this shot.) 100 cars of prairie-speed freight bearing down, just beyond the treeline. You're turning your head at the whistle as the train steams through the last crossing, barely missing a convertible full of drunken teens. Raw danger abounds!
