Photo-Finish Friday -- Working On The Story

Photo of me (courtesy: D.B.) working on a short story titled "Miles in Between" on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at a hotel in Podgorica, Montenegro.

PFF is the creation of Leah J. Utas.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

¿Montenegro? I always asked myself why a place like that have a spanish name.

Dave King said...

Hang on to that. Could be valuable one day. (Seriously, it's a great photo.)

Deka, The name means "Black Mountain" and history includes being ruled by Serbian medieval dynasty and the Ottoman Empire. Maybe that is just a coincidence on the Spanish similarity of the word? I found that the word nose in English is also pronounced the same in their language.

Thanks, Dave.

Oh.

My.

God.

A picture of David looking positively relaxed and GASP! normal.

I must run to the hills for my world is now out of balance and I must find my equilibrium.

And debonair, G? Yes? No?

Maybe not with the jeans.

Great photo.
I've been wondering what it is you do that takes you to these exotic locations?

Maybe you won't agree with this as you travel so much, but I find hotel rooms one of the best places to write stories. Must be because of the possibilities of the setting - ha!

I should start using writers writing pictures. YOu look serene.

Good one, bud.

How's the story coming? Such deep concentration should make it a great read! Nice pic!

Leah, Are you familiar with U.N.C.L.E. ?

Laurie, According to King’s On Writing, Truman Capote claimed to do his best writing in hotels. I'm the same way as well.

Patti, A very good idea.

Reb, I’m at calm when I’m in the zone.

Ron, Thanks but the machine did most of the work.

Oscar, I have a great idea for this next solo Gideon Miles outing but other voices from other unfinished tales decided to jump ahead of Mile in Between.

Stylish and debonair indeed.

Jeans can make the man just as much as dress pants.

I must retreat to the hills again, for I think I'm about to have another moment.

David Cranmer said...

Ah, debonair it is then.
