Planted his colonies on the planets of his own solar system -- and with the invention of the Bridwell Space Drive has reached out to other galaxies...I had to buy this comic because it was published in June 1970, a few months after I was born. And with any luck, I will be able to read it on its centennial anniversary sixty years from now.

DC has used the Manhunter name effectively on a bunch of characters. The most cool was a ninja/spy character by Archie Goodwin who appeared in '70s Detective Comics. If you can find the collected "Manhunter" by Goodwin, you're in for a treat.
You always have the history down, Rich. Archie as a ninja is hard to imagine but I'm sure I would get a kick out of it.

David-- Archie Goodwin, the writer, not the cartoon character. Goodwin's story is pure action pulp and The Batman guest stars at the story's climax.

My brother, who is a scientist (and therefore, like every scientist I have ever met, knows everything,) tells me that our generation should look forward to a lifespan of at least a hundred years. He predicts 125, though I think that's stretching it. This is, of course, a lifespan that will be extended by our malfunctioning pieces being replaced by genetically engineered substitutes. One other note of consideration, such repairs to the human body will be hinged on the quality of your healthcare, I'm sure. Moral of the story? Move to Europe or Canada if you want to live longer...

The only manhunter from DC i know before this is the andorids made in Oa... This manhunter seems more.. friendly.
Did you buy it recently? Or is it a keeper from childhood? I have one comic book--the one in which Spiderman got married. I figured it would be worth something--and I'm a sucker for a good romance.
Recent. Last year. I'm 40 and still buying comics and proud of it. And that Spiderman issue is a keeper, don' lose it.
