I've been listening to Soul Coughing lately on Grooveshark, especially "Soft Serve" and "The Idiot Kings" off the Irresistible Bliss album. Love that double bass!

Evan, There is a superb Kill Bill-Bang Bang Remix out there.
Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes will be clicked on right after dMix's Soul C.
I love this song --more familiar with the original by Cher than Nancy's take. Sonny Bono wrote it for Cher's second album in '66 --which my parents bought new and we wore the grooves off of.
Looks like Nancy's version came out later in '66 but Cher's original snagged the #2 spot on the Billboard charts. I have to say after Kill Bill it's this one I prefer.
I always associate Nancy with "These Boots are Made for Walking." Damn, now that's stuck in my head. And yeah, Bang Bang was Cher's song all the way. No playlist here just Froggy 101.
Nothing much of late has stuck to me....but in keep with the Kill Bill motif, that silly little insipid song that Darryl Hannah whistles at the beginning really has started to rear its ugly head at work.
Diane, That along with the THE WALL are at the top for me. I bought their greatest hits a few years back and it is defintely worth the dinero for a fan. Waters and Gilmour together for the effort was tops.
Laurie/Sandra, Sonny wrote it and Cher definitely owns it with her unique style but Nancy has a little more sadness around the edges and that's probably why Quentin included it in KILL BILL.
And back to flicks, I can’t think of Nancy’s biggest hit, BOOTS without thinking of FULL METAL JACKET.

Right now, it's Pink Floy's Wish You Were Here cd. Title track can still give me goosebumps.

G, Yeah, that can be annoyingly catchy as well.

Lately I can't get the Bee Gees' "This Is Where I Came In" out of my head.
I'm not ashamed to admit I like the Bee Gees. One of their later songs ALONE is a favorite.
I'll have to check out that BTAP, sounds like something I'd be quite comfortable with.
