I LOVED this book!! But...I never saw the movie. I should, shouldn't I?

Yes, you should. Just watch the opening and you will be hooked.

I've seen the movie before but I've gotten to Part 2 and will return tomorrow, or later today when I have more time to watch. Wonderful movie, David!

Barbara, Hitch always delivered. I've seen this at least four times and there's set pieces that just burn in the memory.

As much as I would like to say I don't like romantic melodrama, this is absolutely one of my favorite movies. The book is terrific, too, and contains an unforgettable scene with Rebecca's grandmother that didn't make it into the movie.

Craig, I believe the Hitchcock touch makes the difference. I get hooked with that long opening shot leading up the drive to Manderley everytime.
