Flight of the Grievous Angel

Sarah Hina made me aware of Jason Evan's "Ascension" Short Fiction Contest at The Clarity of Night. The rules are to create a 250 word or less flash using the photo to the right as inspiration. I think my piece, "Flight of the Grievous Angel," came out pretty well. Feel free to zip over and ckeck it out. There are many superb stories including "Stalker" by Sandra Seamans.

I see he has over 100 entries. wow. I thought about it but just couldn't spare the time this time. I'll check yours out, though.

They do this sort of thing in the Alfred Hitchcock magazine too. I never entered because I can't do flash fiction - just too damn short. Youre one is great though.

I tried this last year and decided I needed more words to do my thing. Admirable the stuff on that site.

Yes, pretty damn well. :) Great story, David, and I'm so glad you took me up on this! I was looking for your take on the prompt. Took a long time to get to it...

125 entries. Wow.

Charles, I'm just glad you could contribute to BTAP this week. People are going to be knocked out by your story.

Archavist, Thanks!

Patti, I've read about a dozen stories so far and I'm humbled. Some amazing talent.

Sarah, I really enjoyed writing this and I appreciate the invite. Btw congratulations on your book deal!
