The Gang's All Here, Sweetheart

And they're even willing to serve as crash dummies to test the safety of your new stuff.

They'll be very good pals, one and all ... and they can't wait to meet you.

  1. Awwww... the bear reminds me of the teddy that slept with me every night until he fell apart and we had to be forcibly separated...after which I fell apart.

  2. Ah, the Graco car-seat (and the installation that follows). Brings back memories.

  3. Ron, I still have a monkey that I named monkey (lots of imagination there) and he is still hanging out at my mom's house. I should see how he's doing.

Garnett, Yeah we were going over the instructions this evening and trying to figure out installing the seat in a Jeep Wrangler.

  4. I have a tear in my eye, David. The memories are flooding back.....tearing my hair out at not being able to secure the car seat properly!! Ha!

Seriously, I envy you and in the same breath wish you luck with everything. You're both in for the best adventure ever!!

  5. Ahhhh....pleasant memories of my two..ummmm...childrens (yes, that's the ticket..I couldn't pull the trigger to call them anything else).

Seriously though, great looking schtuff for the little one.

Although, you will become a whiz in nothing flat with a car seat, and you'll have a great item to use to workout all of those pesky muscle groups (ala Jack LaLanne).

    :D

  6. David, We have been to Africa and South America together but we refer to this as our greatest adventure.

G, That's good. I've lost some definition since my military days and could beef up a bit.

  8. Yeah.... We have two dogs. Life is good.

I do remember my brother's car seat, though--buckles and harnesses and winches and cables and ninjas and....

    We have two dogs.

  9. Thanks, Sandra.

I will, Reb. But only once in awhile. I don't want to ruin my tough guy image. (<Feel free to laugh.)

Matt, "... winches and cables?!" Good lord. What was going on there?

  10. Make sure you have one of those bumpo chairs. And have a police officer install your car seat. We had ours in all wrong.

  11. Cute! It's never too early to be prepared although my first baby came late and my second was actually born on her due date. When is your due date? Hopefully after the snow has melted.

  14. Patti, Good advide and we may just do that. Thanks.

Sarah, We have three weeks to go and will the snow ever end? I'm looking out the window now shaking my head. This one is a monster.

Charles, Ha. I'll have to ask them.

Mates, Yeah I got a feeling we have many, many stuffed animals ahead of us.

  16. I'll just bet it's physically impossible for you to sit down and actually relax at this point!

  17. Chris, I will try not to overindulge in fatherhood posts ... I'll try.

AC, One doctor’s appointment after another but when you hear that heartbeat it makes everything worthwhile.

  18. Don't try on my account! You go ahead and post away. If you can't play proud papa on your own blog, then what has the world come to?

  19. Ha. True enough. Still, I'll try to keep the saccahrine to a minimum.

When she blinks up at you, you'll go all the way to squooshy little puddle, so a little gushiness ehre is good practice!
