My DC.com as I call it had been looking fairly ragged of late. It is still under construction but I think Denise has done a pretty good job thus far. Take a look here and let me know what you think.

My good friend Chuck Tyrell has a book trailer for his latest novel called THE SNAKE DEN.
Clean and concise. The technical writer part of me likes it.
ReplyDeleteVerra nice!
ReplyDeleteHey! Nice site. Clean and straightforward. I like it.
ReplyDeleteBut where's the sasquatch?
Thanks, all. I think websites should be easy to navigate and that's what I like best about what d has put together.
ReplyDeleteMatt, That would be great to have Bigfoot for my author photo. Ha!
Very, very cool website.
ReplyDeleteIf anything, we now know what you do for gainful employment. :D
It's looking good! Easy to navigate, easy on the eyes. I miss the edgy fiction feel of BtaP, though.
ReplyDeleteJust curious about the pale yellow letters in the background. They say, "You vant to vuy my vook" Subliminal advertising? Really you two. Sheesh!
;-)
Very slick, David. I'm a lover of websites that are clean looking and easy to get round. D has done you proud, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLike your mates video promo!!
G, Now I've gone and done it!
ReplyDeleteJodi, So far no sales today so we screwed the pooch.
David, You slipped your comment in while I was posting. Yep, Little d does good work. She is hard to give a compliment to and would say she is a hack but the results speak for themselves.
ReplyDeleteWow. Great job on that site. Does Denise do work for hire?
ReplyDeleteLove Charlie's video too!
Looks great.
ReplyDeleteSite looks good--didn't know about Dark Valentine before.
ReplyDeleteThe trailer has some nice shots of the Yuma Territorial Prison (AKA 'The Hellhole'). The prison is about a mile away from Yuma High, my old school, which features the only penal-themed sports team in the U.S., the Criminals.
I like the site. Five stars for user-friendly. That includes the great pic. After reading your bio, I feel like I now know a double agent.
ReplyDeleteTime for me to get my own site up and running. I've had my own domain name for over 10 years that I've never used.
Evan, She says she would be a wreck doing someone else's website. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chris.
Interesting history, Garnett. And The Criminals is a sharp name.
Ron, Yep, I work for CONTROL with Maxwell.
It looks great, David.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you--websites should be clean and straightforward. Nothing annoys me more than going to a website that takes fifteen minutes to load a bunch of crap.
A clean, well-lighted site, David. And, more importantly, the content to back it up.
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Got it bookmarked so I can keep up with all things Cranmer. Nice to have one stop shopping.
ReplyDeleteYou and your charmer, did a great job.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive. I haven't fully explored yet, but was really excited by Dark Valentine - a lesson in typography and illustration for some publishers I could think of! Generally, though, excellent presentation that makes you want to read it.
ReplyDeleteChad, I'm with you. Unless the site is a friend of mine I will click away if it is taking to long to load.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chris. Hopefully I will have some more content to add.
Randy, It probably will not be to hard to follow my one book a year career.
Gracias, Frank.
David, DV has it going on with loads of style to spare.
Website looks good.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alec.
