Tony Curtis

I enjoyed many of his films and this particular TV show with Roger Moore was a favorite. R.I.P.

  2. A very tongue-in-cheek romp. Lots of fun.

  3. Yes, this show was a favorite of mine as well. Somewhere in the house I have a couple of tie-in novels based on the show.

  4. The best Tony Curtis movie for me will always be SOME LIKE IT HOT.

  5. Our ship had a part in one of his movies in the early '50's, "Forever Yours" or something like that. They did all the filming at night and paraded through the compartment where we were trying to sleep. He was a personable gent.

  8. Randy, I wonder who wrote the tie-in novels for The Persuaders?

Ron, Funny, funny film. Another great role was in The Defiant Ones.

Oscar, Thanks for sharing that story. It is always nice to know when one of these actors has the affable touch.

Evan, One of the best. The final line with Jack Lemmon and Joe . Brown is arguably one of the funniest in film history.

    Alyssa, He certainly did.

They were adaptations of episodes. To be honest, I'm not sure I still have them(having had to cull the collection a couple of times). Small house and a couple of moves over the years has most of the older stuff packed into boxes(I have one whole room devoted to storing them).

  10. In doing a little more research, there was apparently a third book, likely not published over here as it is fairly high. Different titles as well. Some list the first as the show name, others The Heart Shaped Birthmark.

  13. Randy, I've made notes of these titles and may look for them when I return. Thanks.

Charles, I see where Jamie Lee had a very nice statement.

Reb, Kinda sorta on par with It Takes A Thief. Light as a feather and easy on the eyes.
