ReplyDeleteCharles, You know, I never got that feeling but I will say Harpers Ferry is like a little time capsule. (kinda like a Twilight Zone episode.) One steps back to 1859 very easily.

ReplyDeleteLeah, I've found that my opinion of John Brown has changed quite considerably since grade school.
ReplyDeleteChris, Incredibly scenic place and hot as he double hockey sticks the day we visited.
Evan, I believe that was the remains of a church. Definitely not the armory.
I can't imagine how much hard labor those people must have spent to build these! Spectacular!
