  2. yes, I'd like to walk in that place. I bet it would feel haunted even if it weren't.

  4. Laurie, Very scenic part of the coutry and well worth it.

Charles, You know, I never got that feeling but I will say Harpers Ferry is like a little time capsule. (kinda like a Twilight Zone episode.) One steps back to 1859 very easily.

cassandrajade, You bet and thanks for stopping by.

  8. Leah, I've found that my opinion of John Brown has changed quite considerably since grade school.

Chris, Incredibly scenic place and hot as he double hockey sticks the day we visited.

Evan, I believe that was the remains of a church. Definitely not the armory.

  9. I can't imagine how much hard labor those people must have spent to build these! Spectacular!

  11. Redbush, They certainly were built to last.

Deka, I'm sure it can't hold a candle to the castles in your land.

  17. I'm a little less than a month away from driving out to the Little Bighorn Battlefield. I've been by it several times but never stopped. Going to make it happen this year; I'm really looking forward to it.
