  2. Yeah, I sat there for a stretch thinking about that and my favorite foods. A lot of fun though, thanks for lobbing the meme my way.

  3. The book thing was tough for me as well. I could probably name four more, then probably four after that.

  4. All I can say is it's always good to find another Star Trek TOS fan.

  5. I'm gonna try this. Looks like fun. And I need a blog post idea.

  6. Randy, Definitely. The entire Hammett, Chandler, and Christie collection for starters.

Leah, This remastered and enhanced TOS I'm watching is superb. It's a must for fans.

Charles, Glad to be of help.

  7. You keep citing Hemingway's Nick Adams. Would you recommend it to a non nature reader. I'm aware Hemingway wrote of bullfights and fisherman.

  8. Hmmm... I've been reading E.H. for so long I'm not sure if I'm the one to ask. If you want to learn about short story writing then by all means read Nick Adams. But if you have never read Hemingway and are just looking for a good read than I suggest The Old Man and the Sea. Yes, it's about fishing but it’s also his most accessible novel to the non aficionado and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

  9. Interesting meme.

This is almost like a few I get at work.

Thanks for the tag. I will try to find a way to squeeze it in during the next week or so. Will just have to do some slight rescheduling of a few posts.

But have no fear, Underdog is here.

  12. That was interesting, David. You have lived in some interesting places. I was in Belize for a few days in 1972. I bet it's a lot different now. :)

  13. Linda, There was a guy I was working with (this was 2005) who said he passed through in the early 80's and said Belmopan and Belize City was exactly as he remembered it. I guess that's a good thing in a way... If you don't like change.

  14. Hard to narrow it down to four? I would agree to that. Interesting choices, David.
