A Golden God

Editor Christopher Grant has been kind enough to post A Golden God over at A Twist Of Noir. It's a flash piece of mine about an assassin and an ill fated birthday party.

    Interesting piece--I enjoyed reading it. The "crimson halo" was a nice description.

    The ending works nicely and makes me wonder who wanted the "golden god" dead in the first place? A second heir?

    I've never been able to produce a flash story - can't get things together in the length so I know how hard these things can be. Well done.

    Archavist, My average short story word count is around 1500 words. These two to three hundred flashes are far harder but very rewarding when they work.
