Classical poetry takes me back to school when we had to describe a poem in narrative form. I looked forward to English class that also included a weekly Dictation period.
I would have to say that I don't understand poetry, but some of it is edifying and entertaining I think.
Prashant, my enjoyment of classic poetry came from a mother that would quote chestnuts like this at the drop of a hat. Quite the performer she was.Oscar, There's some cowboy verse out there I bet you would very much appreciate.
