I like it! I mean, I'm not an outdoors person and I don't drive or travel to work so it doesn't interfere with my life. The pubs and the house are warm, and so are the shopping centres, so being - 11 outside has litle effect on me. A couple of shots of vodka make waiting 10 mins for a bus great fun!

Chris, As a teen I couldn't wait for days like this but now I'll take a pass. Maybe the joy will return when my daughter is jumping up and down and wants to go build a snowman. Maybe.

What, no hard top for the Jeep? They are a necessity up here. Much like you, if I don't have to go out in it, snow is just fine. Shovelling it, or driving or waiting for the bus, not so much.
Still just kind of cloudy here in the desert with the occasional sprinkle, but the snow has started accumulating at a safe distance on the mountains. Always makes a nice picture framed by palm trees. (Running for cover...)
Cullen, When I was in DC I remembered how the city was a little safe haven from the majority of the weather storms and then it would progressively get worse as I drove home to the subs.
Reb, I need a hard top. I though I was a rag top kind of driver but literally have never taken it off in three years. And I haven't taken care of it like I should.

David, we've has loads of the white stuff! Over the past week or so we've had well over a couple of foot (all together) with temps of -17!! And we're forecast for more. I love it, personally. Especially at this time of the year. A white Christmas. Can't beat it.
I don't know about that. Your storm up there is shooting lasers our way and they're forecasting low temps and the real possibility of snow by the end of the week.
Already had stupid driving by others this morning because once again, people forgot that they live in southern New England.
It started early this morning and is falling at a pretty good clip now.
That's a fine fall of snow you've got.

ReplyDeleteOurs arrived over the weekend and is still here. This morning it brought 7 degree temperatures with it.
I wish they would both just go away.
Here go my cliches but if I don't have to go out in it or it would just fall away from the roads I'm ok with it. Yeah, I don't care for it either.

Looks good. We good a small fall Saturday and it was all gone but a few isolates spots yesterday.

I hate snow and would do anything not to live where it snows. Anything except be far from my grandson that is.

And besides, it's easier to spot sasquatches (sasquatchi?) when there's snow on the ground. As long as their coats haven't turned white yet....
